Follow Friday/Blog Hop and Weekly Recap

It’s Follow Friday! Hosted by the always amazing Parajunkee’s View, this is a chance to meet new blogger friends and grow our networks.

This week’s question is “Share your current fav television show! Tell us a bit about it.”

I could say The Vampire Diaries. Or the Modern Family/Cougar Town double feature. I could even say Glee. All of these are favorites of mine. But the ultimate mega-amazing super fantabulous Must See Show for me?

Psych on USA Network. It’s. Amazing. Hilarious, full of the best bromance ever, and has the perfect balance of formula no-brainer television mixed with cult insider deliciousity. It’s so amazing I have to make up words to describe how much I love it. You dig?

Book Blogger Hop

Hosted by Crazy For Books, this blog hop is all about connecting with our fellow bloggers. Each week we discuss a book-related question and hop around to other blogs to see their answers.

This week’s question is “Do you ever wish you would have named your blog something different?”

Oh, you sly devil! Yes, sometimes I do wish that I had thought ahead and kept book blogging separate. In my haste to get a domain secured (the “E.” came in when loganturner.com was already taken), I slapped a blog about books together before I fully realized what book blogging was all about. So I do think it would be cool to have a slick name to go with my book blog and have my domain direct to a blog about my writing or something. I am kind of the oddball using just my name.

What do you guys think?

My weekly recap is inspired by the phenomenally talented, kind and generous Small Review. If you are not already following her, you are really missing out.

  1. I think your blog name is eye-catching because of its very simplicity. A lot of book blog names play on the same words. I should know. There's another Ruby's Reads. But I own the domain name. So there.

  2. Hey, I agree with you 🙂 I think we all choose our names to suit our personalities and alot of thought goes into the process 🙂 I love the Vampire Diaries and Im a huge fan of Psych – Isnt Shawn and Gus the perfect Duo :)New followerwww.thephantomparagrapher.blogspot.com

  3. Lol at Rubita. I just started blogging so I'm not tired of my blog name yet. But I'm not usually that creative anyway so who cares.Alexis @ Reflections of a Bookaholicwww.reflectionsofabookaholic.com

  4. ive seen psyche a couple of times. i didnt enjoy it all that much, to be honest. my fave shows are along the lines of ANTM, ghost whisperer, ugly betty, how i met your mother…ive very eclectic tastes :)anyway, hi, im a new follower!

  5. I think your blog name is fine! I went with the more anonymous route, but occasionally I wish I had just used my real name. It would make things easier sometimes. 🙂

  6. 1. I think your blog name is very unique b/c it is just your name. The fact that you have your pic up and your pic on Twitter-instant recognition. You could always make a separate only book blog in the future if you choose. 2. I LOVE Psych. It just cracks me up.

  7. I LOVE Psych! Sean and Gus are the best! Stopping by via the hop. I am giving away a copy of The Iron King on my blog so stop by if you get a chance.NCTruly Bookish

  8. hopping by! new follower!! Hope you check out my blog as well! =]http://lindsaycummingsblog.blogspot.com/i love pretty little liars! psych is my favorite show though! yay!

  9. I like your blog name – it stands out because it's simple.Definitely check out the BBCA Being Human. Much better than the SyFy version!!

  10. Oh, fist bump, Logan! I thought I was going to be the only one extolling the fantasticness (yes, I know that's not a real word) and truly awesomeness of Psych! I mean seriously, can it get any better? By the way, I like your blog name. It reminds me of one of those 50's detective stories for some reason. You should have a smoky glass door with your name in gold lettering on it.

  11. I agree with Karen. I also really like your tag line. I wish I could change my blog name all the time. I really don't know what the heck I was thinking.

  12. A show must be REALLY good if you have to make up words to describe it! I've never seen PSYCH, but I adore MODERN FAMILY. Adorable, clueless Phil Dumfee – need I say more?Glad to have found you via the Hop!

  13. Every time I watch a commercial for Psych I think to myself, I need to start watching this show. So one day I will. And I think your blog name is fine. Yes, you may be different but that's a good thing! It's memorable!Old follower :)Jess @ Gone with the Words

  14. How awesome are you Logan!! Thank you for the link :)I love your blog name. Is it lame for me to say that it's totally you? 😛 But it is and I like that. It makes you seem honest and open. I haven't seen Psych yet but I once took it out from the library 🙂 I do that a lot. Take out a movie, never find time to watch it and then return it unwatched. Someday I'll get to see it!

  15. Hi! Just hopping through. I'm your newest follower :)Ummm….Psych….LOVE that show! So funny…like laugh out loud funny. My favorite episode was the Romeo and Juliet episode where Shawn thinks he can do karate. I've seen it so many times and I still am cracking up. lol Have a great weekend 🙂Caroline @ Bon Bons and Reveries

  16. Hopping by: I believe you can change your blog address. I saw that earlier when editing my blog. But I do like yours! Mine is my username, I went for something that wouldn't be taken and ComaCalm is one the most unique Usernames on the internet, I'm the only person that uses it.Now following!
